Thatched Cottage Hotel - Brockenhurst

This place suits me perfectly! Excellent wi-fi, a cozy coffee shop, and friendly staff. They helped with my luggage during my first stay, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend it for a relaxing time. Coming back for Christmas!

Everything was simply great. Really enjoyed our 1 night here. The morning meal was delicious and marvellous with excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, for example. The location was magnificent close to train station and the staff here was polite. Besides, we were so close to restaurants, a park and pubs and restaurants.

Charming thatched exterior sets a cozy vibe for days spent lounging in the gin garden or tea rooms. Excellent breakfast options include a delicious selection of full English and innovative poached egg dishes, while the spacious garden offers a perfect retreat for pets and relaxing afternoons.

The rooms are on the smaller side, giving a bit of a cramped feel, with some basic amenities that could use an update. Noise from the nearby coffee shop can be disruptive in the mornings, and the garden area outside certain rooms appears neglected, with loose patio slabs and dirty furniture. Limited parking adds a small hassle when returning from outings, and the absence of bins near the outdoor space could be an inconvenience for longer stays.

We really enjoyed our stay with the family, especially visiting the beautiful New Forest. It was fantastic biking through the greenery, and the kids loved spotting the ponies. Breakfast was a hit, with plenty of choices for our little ones, and they even.

My kids wished there was an outdoor play area for them to enjoy some time outside. A bit more room in the contemporary double would have been great for our larger family.

I had a lovely stay with a beautiful breakfast and unique gin tasting experience that really impressed me. The room was comfortable, but it looked different from the online photos.

The gin bar had an excellent selection that surprised us kinda.

The mattress was uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's sleep.

The historic room was cozy with charming features, and the breakfast had delicious options like freshly baked croissants. The gin bar was a surprising delight.
